We're Getting A Pet will be published by Little Golden Books (Random House) in spring 2015.

When a little boy gets the okay from Mom and Dad to get a pet, it's a big event. The whole family heads to the local animal rescue where they meet all kinds of lovable animals to adopt. The boy considers each one carefully but isn't satisfied until he spots the pet he'll call his own. Which animal will become the family pet?
