I can do a straightforward reading and booksigning, or class/​school presentations.

My presentation is as follows:

For Kindergarteners - Second Grade, 30 - 40 minutes

*reading of Shoes for Me
*felt board with felt pieces for kids to 'design a shoe' together
*discussion on individuality and self-expression OR
*fun lesson on rhyme, kids will help me create a short rhyming poem OR
*how a book is made - getting ideas down on paper, adding illustrations OR
*the editing process OR
*the life of an author and/​or the writing process

Handouts include a coloring page of Hippo from the book and a simple maze connecting Hippo to her shoes.
